The university was initially established as the Central School of Finance and Economics, which later evolved into the Central Institute of Finance and Economics (CIFE) in 1952. Over the years, CIFE continued to grow and expand its academic programs, eventually becoming one of the leading institutions for higher education in finance and economics.
